Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has announced the inclusion of Bentley, the iconic British luxury car manufacturer, as the sixth brand in its illustrious portfolio. Effective July 1, 2025, SAVWIPL will exclusively handle the import, distribution, and servicing of Bentley vehicles across India, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to the country’s ever-growing luxury automotive market.
Bentley has launched a dedicated entity, Bentley India, to manage its operations in the country, including marketing, sales, and after-sales services. This strategic move, led by newly appointed Brand Director Abbey Thomas, aims to leverage India's increasing demand for ultra-luxury vehicles, particularly within its expanding ultra-high-net-worth individual (UHNI) segment. Thomas brings significant market expertise to his role, driving the brand's growth in the region.

Bentley India will launch its retail presence with new dealer partners in Bengaluru and Mumbai, with plans for a showroom in New Delhi to follow. These state-of-the-art facilities will offer Bentley’s signature blend of exquisite craftsmanship, cutting-edge performance, and timeless luxury, tailored to India’s discerning clientele.
Piyush Arora, Managing Director and CEO of Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, expressed enthusiasm about the addition, stating, “Welcoming Bentley into the SAVWIPL family is a proud milestone that completes our portfolio — from the precision of German engineering to the timeless elegance and unmatched performance of British craftsmanship. India’s appetite for uncompromising luxury is growing rapidly, and Abbey’s deep understanding of the Indian market makes him the ideal leader to steer Bentley India toward new milestones.”
Jan Bures, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing, and Digital at SAVWIPL, added, “It’s a proud moment for us in India to welcome Bentley into the SAVWIPL family. The ever-growing UHNI segment in India will benefit from this new association, and we, along with our new dealer partners, will ensure the best of luxury and performance for our customers.”
Bentley has been a fixture in India’s luxury car landscape for over two decades, consistently exceeding the expectations of customers seeking automotive excellence. By integrating Bentley into SAVWIPL’s operations, the brand aims to enhance its focus on the Indian market while maintaining its world-class standards throughout the ownership experience.
